1st Asia-Pacific Regional Chief Scout Executives Meet was held on Hilton Hotel, Kula Lampur, Malaysia on 25 October 2009. Meet was hosted by Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia (The Scout Association of Malaysia).
Mr. Gautam Adhikari, Director of Nepal Scouts National Headquarters participated in the Meet from Nepal Scouts side.
Aim of the Meet was to gather Chief Scout Executives and discuss matters of mutual interest that will help in their services in bringing quality Scouting to more young people in the respective NSOs and Objectives were :
1. To share best practices related to the work of the Chief Scout Executives
2. To identify major challenges that are faced by NSOs in the region and discuss possible solutions
3. To understand each other and establish links between and amongst NSOs on sharing professional/technical expertise and networking
