Nepal Scouts 57th Scout Day was held from 3rd July in premises of Nepal Scouts National Headquarters, Lainchour, Kathmandu.
Nepal Scouts celebrated its 57th Scout Day on 3rd July at the National Headquarters, Kathmandu. Scouts from Mid-Western Region of the Different Districts including Kalikot, Jajarkot, Dolpa, Dang, Dailekha, Pyuthan, Bardiya, Bake, Mugu, Rukum, Salyan and Surkhet participated in different competitions like drama conducted by Nepal Scouts, cultural programs, March pass, Camp craft, Camp decoration and many more. Distinguished guests from national level organizations, Diplomats, Government officials, Senior Journalists, former scout leaders, national and district scout authorities and scouts from different districts were present to celebrate Nepal Scout Day.
On this occasion the Patron of Nepal Scouts and Rt. Honorable Prime Minister Madav Kumar Nepal inaugurated the ceremony by flag ceremony of Nepal Scouts.
On the pleasant ceremony Patron of Nepal Scouts Handed over the various awards to leaders for their contribution the development of scouting movement.
Patron distributed service awards to devote scout leaders. Winner Scouts, and Districts were awarded by prize and certificate who participated the competitions. On the ceremony Chief Commissioner Mr. Shree Ram Lamichhane, Joint Chief Commissioner (G) Ms. Ambika Paudyal spoke about the ideals of scouting and National Secretary Ms. Chandra Kala Pant presented the Annual Report of Nepal Scouts. |
