6th SAF Scout Friendship Camp is going to held in Bangaladesh from 12~18 October. Bangladesh Scouts, National Scout Association will hosted this SAF Camp.

Nepal Scouts is inviting the Rover scouts and Ranger Scouts from 24 districts to participate in above mention programme. Interest Rover/Ranger can apply to your own District Headquarters not later that 21st July 2008.

The aim of the camp is to promote and strengthen regional peace, solidarity and cooperation among the young people of South Asia by providing them the opportunity to live together and engage in various activities fostering friendship and mutual understanding. Theme of the Camp is ‘Scouting for Peace and Friendship’ and

Objectives of the SAF Friendship Camp are:

· Share each other’s culture in a spirit of solidarity, while discovering the rich culture and heritage of Bangladesh

· Enrich friendship with mutual understanding, tolerance and cooperation to promote peace in South Asia

· Create awareness among young people on Scouting in South Asia

· Undertake leadership role for personal development

· Learn more on the social and environmental situation of other countries of South Asia.

· Make friends with other Scouts of South Asia and

· Have a better understanding about the function of the South Asia Foundation.)
